The place to speak about Dev's current projects, and everything yet to come

Just got this from the label!

I just wanted to drop you some quick news which I think is really cool... Your
whole solo catalog (all the DT stuff) is going to come out on vinyl.
InsideOut with CM are doing two titles themselves (Ocean Machine and
Terria), and Back On Black Records from the UK will do vinyl on the other 7
(Physicist, Infinity, Synchestra, Accelerated Evolution, Ziltoid, Addicted
and Ki). It will probably take another 4 months or so until they start to see the light of
day, but it all just got hooked up.

Awesome! Thats great news!

To hear the sweet sound of your catalogue on vinyl... it will make it all the more interesting.
Not to mention the artwork, cd size just doesn't justify the work put into it..

see you in Melbourne! :)

Very cool. I guess that means I have to find myself a decent table and speakers.

Framing that and putting it on my wall. Consider me a day one purchase as long as they're not like 60 dollars each.

Put it on a wall? Fuck that, I'll put it on a turntable (less the frame  ). I'd love to have vinyls of those albums, but I imagine price will be an issue (for me)...

Definitely getting myself a copy of Terria on vinyl. Don't have a turntable yet, but once I get one it's going to sound epic as fuck.

Will there also be some additional remixing/-mastering before they're pressed or will they be as is?

...y'know, since this would be an excellent opportunity for a re-done Physicist for example. ;)

NICE! :)

I contacted the Back on Black Records on this subject some months ago, and finally, the ball is rolling.... :D :D :D

Very cool indeed! Looking forward to seeing the artwork, probably the main reason I like vinyl versions!
