Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

What's your take on it? I thought they couldn't get much poppier than Dark Light, but apparently I was wrong...not that thats entirely a bad thing. I really enjoyed Venus Doom, and as much as I would like to hear a whole new album filled with similar songwriting, a part of me is happy they went in this other direction. Though the lyrics seem to be a bit on the odd side, judging from the lines in "Heartkiller."

Haha I don't know man, I'm really not familiar with HIM. All I know is that BlueRaja is a big fan, she ordered the special edition of this CD but as far as I know, she hasn't heard it yet. So when I saw the leak on Demonoid I just couldn't resist ;) It's really not my kind of music so I don't think I should comment :P

NP: Textures - Polars
Much more my cup of tea :)

Ah, I see. How very evil of you. 8) Alas, I will form my own opinion of the album when it drops!

Oh, that Biert. I expect no less.

I've only heard Heartkiller (catchy), St. Valentine (?) & half of some other song. I didn't pay much attention to the latter two because I'm waiting for my pre-order package, which is quite cool. I did receive 2 password codes for digital downloads of the album with the purchase of 2 concert tickets, but of course I can't use them until the official release date (Feb. 8th). Blarg. I should be used to this feeling after getting Ki and Addicted later than most everyone else in the world...

BUT I'M NOT!

Tyroshai likes them, too, btw.

Pretty solid album, better than An Answer Can Be Found, not as catchy as Infiltrate Destroy Rebuild.

At an unhealthily loud volume to disturb my neighbours disturbing me with their fucking ridiculous Thursday/Friday/Saturday rave.
I mean, c'mon. You know it's bad when you have to scream at your fellow obese chav mates in order to have a conversation over music.

Not that they can even comprehend the concept of conversation.

Fuckers.

RAIN - System Debaser

Sybreed before they were Sybreed. Really wish they would have used this song though when they changed over, they used a few "RAIN" songs in Sybreed, but not this one =/

Just google blog search the 2 Rain demos, or go to the Sybreed forums. They usually have mediafire/megaupload links with both of theor 3 song demos in it. Some of the other RAIN stuff is really hard to find.
