Devin,
i read about your Signature Guitar, but i´ve seen you in a Video with another Peavey Guitar.
I am searching for a guitar with this body specs since one Year now, and i´m going to let me build a guitar like this in a few Month.

Could you please make some Pictures of it?
I only have one very little Picture and this is not enough for the Guitarbuilder.

I´m talking about this guitar:

Yeah, thats a bad ass guitar...however the headstock snapped off in transit, when I opened it at the first gig, it was like 'd'oh!'

...So Peavey Nashville brought me that weird ass thing I used for the whole tour, cool enough guitar, sounds good, but man...me no likee the shape.

Oh well, beggers can't be choosers, I'm stoked they were there to help out, I'll get the other one back soon.

Yeah! I was wondering the same. I got to play one of those PXD things at the Guitar Center there in Knoxville earlier yesterday. Seemed interesting enough, but the shape of it.. ugh so painful! I guess thats heavy metal for you though, eh? Going from that to the V must be an enormous relief. I <3 my V more than any other guitar I have, it's just so comfortable to play :) I'm curious to see what your sig-V will feel like in person. The 28" scale is a monster, but I lurves it :)

The one that was broken....did you use that to track anything on Addicted? Or, was it just for show in those youtube vids....

Broke right off? Would you be willing to put the neck (with the broken headstock) up for bid on ebay? I just started building guitars recently and my first build is coming to an end along with another refinish I've been doing. So I've been planning my next project and a seven string neck would be great to get my next build going.Fixing up a broken neck would be something new to try my hand at and would save me a lot of money.

Yes it has a big ass. It looks weird but a big as comes with sustain so it's cool.

I hoped that Peavey would build a second "Devin Townsend" Signature like this one, but now i let it build custom for myself, because i´ve been fallen so in love with the look and the shape.
I play now 9 Years on my Guitar and the Frets and the hardware are really down. I searched all Guitarmanufacturer Homepages in the Net but i cant find a guitar that was exactly what i´m looking for.
But then i saw your Peavey on the vid, and it was just like "BAM!"

It would be really nice if you could make some Pics when you´ve get the Guitar back.
