Picked up The Hurt Locker on Blu-ray today.
Hands down the best movie of 2009 (IMO).

Were you using XP before? If so, does everything work the same? I'd love to reduce memory usage.

I was using Vista. It definitely runs smoother than Vista. I havent tried recording with it yet, I hope Sonar works with this.

Make sure you order on time though, I think that upgrade discount only lasts until January 31. Look it up though, I may be wrong.
Rule of thumb: if it runs on Vista, it runs on 7. If it runs on XP, it probably won't run on Vista or 7.
And 7 being "organised" is a bit of a surprise. In my experience, every update to Windows made it more of a mess.
Oh and what's the point of having free memory?

The overall picture quality is outstanding, along with the camera's video/picture quality. Loading videos on youtube is incredibly fast and smooth. My only irk is the still dont have "pinch to zoom", I'm pretty sure Apple has some kind of copyright on that. (Not sure, just guessing to be honest, but it's puzzling as to why they dont have it on this phone)
It's a really great phone, I'm glad I finally have a nice one.

Yeah Apple has some patent on multitouch, but since Europe doesn't allow software patents and N1's hardware is capable of multitouch, it is expected to be enabled on the phones once they are officially released throughout Europe. Which means you can get it on your phone too by that time (yay for open source).
I'd like to hear what you have to say about it in a while though. It's easy to be impressed with new shiny gadgets, but after actually using it some issues might pop up.
By the way if you're experiencing slow 3G internet speeds, Google is working on that. Hope you won't have any trouble with the phone because support is appalling, apparently.

I know this is essentially meaningless, but in my department which is mostly comprised of audio/visual geeks such as myself, it's a nice change of pace.
Also, I have no textbooks to buy this semester WOO.

Forgive me, but are they women? For some reason, when I think professor...
