Yea that too. Kid's good but you're right he's trying to emulate them a little too much.

I love the Shamisen. Although I prefer listening to them being used to play traditional Japanese music, but these were ace...

Larger ones can overpower the volume of a jet engine at peak output, and solid state ones can produce single, simple notes eith ease, and chords/different tones in more carefully controlled setups, or when more power is available (chords can nearly double the draw of each coil to 60-100Amps).

These being smaller, solid state coils can be used to make or imitate music simply by changing their output. There's loads all over Youtube.
