Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

In Flames - The Jester Race - Wayfaerer

I go huge periods without listening to any In Flames at all and then whenever I do go back and listen to some of their stuff I wonder how I forget how damn good they were...

Making sure we're all on the same page here, they haven't put out anything very good in a long time =/

NP: Animals As Leaders - Behaving Badly

Tosin will never cease to impress me.

Not that long.. I adore Reroute to Remain. The latest one was utter garbage, fair enough. Soundtrack to Your Escape was... alright. Come Clarity was barely saved by utilising Lisa Miskovsky... The only albums of theirs I listen to the whole way through without getting sick of it are The Jester Race and Reroute to Remain. Others all have quite a bit of skippable material, methinks.

NP: Agalloch - Ashes Against the Grain - Scars of the Shattered Sky (Our Fortress Has Burned to the Ground)

"Reroute to Remain" was what got me into them in the first place, and still one of my favorite albums.

Come Clarity was their dying breath in my opinion. And If I knew who Lisa Miskovsky was at the time I probably would have enjoyed it more (god she has an amazing voice)

Reroute has some really solid tracks on it and Soundtrack has a few. Clayman is the only album of theirs I have on my computer/ipod (though I do own Come Clarity)

NP: Sikth - Wait For Something Wild

Love this song. Some of the songs on their first album were just goofy but some were amazing.

Yeah, same situation for me. It was also the first metal album I ever heard. Loved it the minute I heard it and I've continued to love it since. When I saw them back in 06 at their first Irish gig they played 5 or 6 tracks off it and I was just in a state of  :o :) :D

NP: esOterica - The Riddle - Silence

Bulb - Racecar

I pieced both of the parts together into one epic 14 minute awesome-athon. I guess this is going to be on Periphery's album, which is now officially one of my most anticipated releases of 2010.
