Keith is definitely a beast. Another one that's cool about releasing free stuff.

3 - "Revisions"

I've read in a couple places that some didn't like the band's less progressive approach, and they wanted more of the metal-ish stuff they put out with The End is Begun. I enjoyed TEiB, as well as Paint By Number and Wake Pig, but Revisions is probably my favorite release by them so far. Often I have found myself falling more deeply in love with certain bands' b-sides than that of what appears on their studio albums, and in a way, Revisions is kinda like an album comprised of a lot of b-sides (but not entirely). Revision's departure from the darker sound may have hurt their cred with the metal crowd (and with their label apparently), but they have pulled some beautiful tracks from obscurity and revitalized each of their pulses.

Blackwater Park by Opeth is officially my personal "most epic song ever"

Listening to it now.

That's possibly one of the least epic and most poppy songs Opeth ever made.

Explain how it is poppy. There are no clean vocals in the song at all besides a few chant-like parts.

Quit flame-baiting.
