This might be pointless, but I want to get the word out there. The Omega Experiment is seeking full-time members to make what seems like an impossible dream a reality. We would need a second guitarist, bassist, and one solid as hell drummer. We are also still seeking vocalists. We are doing pretty well with our current vocalists, but still need a female...and if we can find a MAIN dude (or chic) to bring it all together that is insanely talented and motivated...then so be it! For now we are gonna work on getting our demos finished, and if we still have no other members by then, we will pull an Animals as Leaders and play to a backing track. Fuck it.

I'm not an "insanely talented" vocalist, but I'm pretty damn good at guitar--wouldn't mind giving it a go, I guess, save for the lack of equipment and my proximity to you guys. Not to mention I still have school to finish up and all that. I guess I'm not really available after all (?). Just interested (?). I don't know.

Point is, I could be an nth-string guitarist/vocalist, if you guys are in a pinch (in TX).

I'd have to say the same goes for me. I'd love to be a part of The Omega Experiment. Your composing skills are just insane, Dan.

Good luck with the search! I know from experience it's not easy to find a whole bunch of people with the more or less the same mindset when it comes to playing music together.

With that whole "distance" thing, I know it is sort of far fetched...but you never know what could happen. Someone might eventually want to relocate, or we will...who knows?

We are gonna play a show here coming up. It's at Hot Topic in our local mall. It will be Ryan, Victor and I...playing on top of a recorded track. What I'll do is mix down an instrumental version of Motion minus one guitar track, keyboard track, and lead vocal track...so they will be vacant for our performances. We won't be doing any other songs yet as they aren't finished vocally.
I'll keep everyone updated as to how it is turning out with rehearsals and what not...

I would love to play guitar for you guys. I think I may lack the skill(would it be rhythm, lead, or a mix of both?) and I'm too young for you and no doubt the whole location thing.

But if you're still looking in 3-10 years, I'll be happy to help you I really love what The Omega Experiment is doing right now though, good luck in your search!

Location issues. Otherwise, I would pick up my bass and immediately start practicing.
