It's been a loooong time.

I've been listening to Physicist this week too.

And me too, sounds fresh again after a long break. I wonder how will it sound after reworking.

Kingdom is kicking my ass. Song is so amazing, totally forgot about this album for a while. The chorus in this song sounds like it could be on Addicted.

Heavy, but the singer requires a few more listens before I can really make an assessment. Also, Tim? Why you using triggers, dude? :p

I didnt like Divine Heresy when I first listened to them when their first album came out. I heard their new stuff and dug it. My problem is the singer is some massively built dude who, when he sings clean, sounds like he's half his size. It's just weird to me.

New guy's (Travis Neal) not nearly as big, but his voice is MUCH better than Vext's was, in my opinion. I like it a LOT.

This pwns, and I'm not really a blues fan -go figure

Check out some blues/jazz organ players like Jimmy Smith and Joey Defrancesco. Organ is my favorite instrument in older blues/jazz. It sounds so classy on the older recordings.

Oh I do too. I didnt like the vocals on the first album really at all. I just dont care for the dude's cleans. They sound even more poppy than Scar Symmetry's in my opinion.

New Scar Symmetry? I can't hear it, as it just is NOT the Scar Symmetry I love.

I dont know man. I really dig it, once you get over the fact that the vocal melodies are in a slightly lower register, the easier it is to listen to.

Ooh that ruled Islands! I never had an appreciation for that kind of stuff before... it's good music though. I guess I gotta expand my musical horizons? Pfft, only a little bit, not too much *shifty eyes*

I also heard this in class, I thought it ruled. Imogen Heap and Jeff Beck?! Wat? Wonder what Muddy Waters would think of this

He's probably think it was awesome. Because Both Imogen Heap and Jeff Beck are awesome. Although I haven't listened to that album in a long time, but I think I hated it. But that song is an awesome track penis.

Haha! For reals - Imogen Heap is playing at the Warfield soon, but I don't know if I can go  Why must I be broke?!
Yeah I'm glad you also thought it was awesome track penis, because it is. The instructor said it "sounds like sex" after he played it  You wouldn't believe how many of dem old songs were either ripped off or covered by bands that came later! :o

So much Dev music. I'm re-hooked in wait of Addicted. Physicist and Ocean Machine are rocking my world again. Gonna listen to some AE soon.

Besides 'Addicted' I'm really anticipating this album,
The track here is sooooo teasing, chillin with subtle STRONG vibe, loven it.

Another new OM track on last KMBT 'return to zero' show was good too.
