Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

I am delighted how they came out because my FUCKING FLASH HAS STILL NOT TURNED UP. As it's a full 35mm frame sensor the noise is extremely low at 6400 ISO. Lettuce was stunned at this information.

Don't tell me you planned to blast them with the flash? Gig photos with flash are shit IMO, why waste all the cool lights and mood(and annoy the musicians)?

Nice pics, by the way.

My camera has a flash on it, but it's very strong, and would have stripped the stage lighting, a flash gun is diffusable, the power is controllable and you can change the direction it's coming from! Some gigs work alright with a flash, some don't, I guess this was an occasion not for the flash  There are some venues in London with such crap lighting, you have to be creative if you don't want massive stripes of noise...

And thank you! This was my new camera's first gig outing, all the features on it are completely different to my old one, so it took both of the support bands to eventually work it out

I was in the pit, everyone else was taking pics for like, magazines and review sites, I thought it'd be nice if they had some "pro" shot pics from the gig for themselves (the last venue I saw them at was literally a room in a pub, so headlining Shepherd's Bush Empire was massive for them!), so I emailed them asking for a photo pass, I woke up this morning and all the band members were friend requesting me on Facebook with the pics I took as their default pics :o And because of that I didn't have to pay to get in 8)
