I think it's pretty awesome that I get to go to school to play bass. I signed up for the class last night, and that makes the ending of summer not feel so gross. Although I should mention that I am scared shitless

Thanks Amber - yeah I guess it'll be ok. I forgot to mention there are auditions - that's what freaks me out. I guess it's only for placement, not to determine if you're in the class or not.. just really shy about playing in front of a lot of people, makes me nervous!

lol sweet! Yeah dude, there will be annoying people, promise. Isn't that always how it goes What was your class like? Were there placement auditions, anything like that? This class is a rock, blues and *barf* R&B performance class. I dunno, maybe I shouldn't hate on R&B, it could be worse.

But fuck me if Devin doesn't appear as one of most balanced and reasonable people (especially since he ditched the weed, haha). He has a ton of distance to himself and self-criticism for a dude who has his ass kissed everywhere he goes. His humility impresses me to no end.
