Neither does my friend who usually listens to stuff like Damien Rice, Creed, Lifehouse and all that pop-rock crap. He loved them. Perhaps I saw you thar...

I signed up for bass camp today. Yes, bass camp!! It's a funny concept... but I think it will be really fun, Michael Manring is the instructor =D

Bass. Camp.

Along with that, in the fall I'm gonna take some theory classes at local schools. And along with that, Berkelee school of music offers online courses for specific instruments. They have rock bass, jazz bass, performance 101.... I'm going to go for it. The requirements are just that you have at least 1 years experience, can read tabs and formal notations, and own a bass. I believe that's it.

And one more thing: BASS PLAYER LIVE!!! '09 in October. This is going to be a bass-packed rest of the year. I don't think it could get any bassier than this :D

Cool! Michael Manring is an amazing player.

I know this one time, at bass camp, I stuck a bass................

Isn't he though? I think that's pretty cool to be able to say that a) I met Manring b) got to learn form him, and c) found out that his website URL is Manthing.com - MANTHING what the hell?

Ewww Swerve... FOUL!!! FETID!!

Burglars fooooound. I just need to identify my stuff that was recovered (sadly just a 35mm SLR and possibly some compact flash cards, but evidence is evidence!), so they can confirm it was definately them who did it. Apparently it was found amongst a hoarde, PS3, phones, MP3 players etc. also found. So we were part of a mass job, they'll get a longer sentance.

Also got a new laptop, Super Mario Firefox theme is off the amazing scale.
