I read he used PodXT Treadplate Dual with a Tube screamer (modeled) in front. I use PODFarm Line6 Plugin in ProTools and use a Dual Amp setting.

Amp 1:
NoiseGate
Tube Screamer
Treadplate Dual
Line6 Compressor

Amp 2:
Noisegate
Tube Screamer
Uberschall
Spring reverb
Line6 Compressor

I blend the Uber a little harsher top-end and distortion-y but lower in the overall mix. Pretty good with open C tuned SG and V with EMG 81's.

I have a shitload of Devy presets for Line 6 Gearbox/Podfarm. I've got like 4 or 5 for SYL stuff, two for Ocean Machine, one for Accelerated Evolution and at least 2 for Ziltoid.

I think I read somewhere about Ziltoid being done all on Line6 modeling. Is that accurate?

Im using Guitar Rig 3....do you know of any way I can get some of Devin's Presets on that program?????

You need PodFarm to use Pod presets unfortunately...

I hear that Axe-Fx is incredible for modeling just about anything, and seeing as Dev uses it, Axe-Fx seems the way to go.

I'm pretty sure that is an entry-level Gibson SG special. Probably the most non-fancy SG you can get. But hey...it sounds pretty rockin' to me.

That's because of what Dev does with the GP-100!
