Looks shexy. But is it just me or does 26.5" for an 8-string seem kinda short?

It is...but the ESP 408 has a 25.5 and it holds decently. This one has a hipshot bridge though, those are basically perfect for 8 strings. Plus the locking tuners.

The Ibanez RG2228 is only 27'', so it's only a half inch longer. 30'' is the ideal scale for an 8 string, so it holds to tension perfectly, thats what Meshuggah's guitars are.
