That wouldnt be too hard, hardest part would be finding a drum midi...

I was really thinking about doing like Straws Pulled At Random...possibly...

Or Lethargica...

No no no, the point was it needs to be one of their 8 string songs. I'm getting tired of my 7 string being tuned like an 8 and I want to record some of my other 7 string stuff soon.

Done Stengah? You could always get some sort of cybernetic implants, or try rolling around in toxic waste so you can get the ability to play Bleed. Combustion is hawt too. I'd say NMCC as it's mah fav Meshuggah song but that's 7-string if I'm not mistaken.

Eh, I dont really like Stengah to be honest...the coolest part is on the original Nothing where they have that little clean guitar part in the intro..

Bleed wont happen, I've tried learning that song, its not just the ridiculous speed and all that its the rhythms too. Those damn triplets change up so much...

Combustion would be fun, if I could actually figure out a few parts that dont make sense in any of the tabs.

I already did a horribly shitty cover of NMCC, dont know if I want to do another. I kind of still want to do a slowed down version of The Mouth Licking What You've Bled.

I think I might just do In Death - Is Life because I do have a decent drum midi and there's only a few little rhythms I need to memorize to have it right.

I haven't been actively listening to Shuggah for a few weeks or months now, but the past few days I've had C33 on play, is nice. Especially because I'm getting tired of everything I'm listening to D: I think I'd have to make Catch Thirtythree my favourite Meshuggah album since it's pretty much the only album where I like all the songs. I'm not such a huuuuge fan of Stengah either, I prefer Rational Gaze. But the solo is so awesome. It tickles mah brain.

I should make a complete cover of Rational Gaze...

Dude you seem to like a lot of what I do, just go to my Last.fm and check some of those bands out, the ones you dont know already.

Stengah does have an awesome solo though...

have to agree with this. as lame as it sounds, the moment they got to roadrunner, they went downhill.

At least the "shitty shredder" contributes, all Peter did was sit around, he never wrote anything.

It was better that way. Porcelain Heart it the weakest Opeth song I've ever heard. His solos on Watershed are not that good. The only good one is in Hex Omega.

I would have been a much better addition to Opeth. Trust me!

Disagree. Ghost Reveries was bad, and recorded before Roadrunner. Roundhouse Tapes is awesome. Watershed, meh.
