OK! I have to rant about my valentines day, so i apologize in advance:
So me and a couple of friends were going to a metalcore show at the only club that books metal bands near where i live. the bands were ok, but i'm not a fan of metalcore usually. I mainly went there with the hope of moshing. However, there was an assload of hardcore dancers swapping at thier invisible bumble bees and kicking thier legs and flailing around like fucking idiots, so nobody could mosh. I ran into a couple metal heads who agreed with me and my friends' dilema and we decided that the next set, we'd start a mosh pit and force the hardcore kids to deal. However, the hardcore kids didn't know what to do, so they just charged at us flailing thier arms. One guy got slammed into the wall and smashed his head. My friends Sid got punched in the nose by some hardcore kid who then ran off. I got kicked in the knee. But the worst thing that pissed me off was that there was this cool metal head there who i was talking to, and him and a bunch of other metal heads (including myself and my friend) started mocking the hardcore dancers and prancing around. Some skinny kid in short shorts and a hollister shirt proceded to karate kick this metal head in the chest, who went flying across the floor and passed out. When me and a few other metal heads tried to confront the hardcore kid, some larger hardcore dancer started gaurding him, and then the security gaurd came and started screaming at us. We took the metal head who passed out outside and he was ok, but after that everything went to shit. The security gaurd was covering his ass saying how if you pay to get in you do what you want and how accidents happen to keep from getting sued. All in all, me and my friends were furious at the bullshit and we left blasting Fucker and other various SYL songs. I just felt like i needed to rant about it, and to any hardcore fans that may be on the boards, don't take offense. With that i'll end on this note. FUCK HARDCORE DANCING! thanks.
