Re-recorded my song "Black Hole" last night. Still have some slight mixing and editing to do...but my god, wait till you hear this! It's massive! I re-arranged it and added a part or 2. I love it!

Possibly by tonight!

It's heavy though, very heavy.

Wait, do you mean heavy like Chugging guitars and beefy drums, or heavy like some dude is grunting over all the good bits?

I mean like F# tuning with bass dropped an octave below with a slow tempo and drums that pound away throughout.

Or you can listen to my old version of the song here :

The guitar tone isnt nearly as good in that version, and the new one is longer with some new parts and added epic-ness.

Mike Patton preps new Fantômas and Mondo Cane albums!

Rock-A-Rolla can exclusively reveal that a brand new Fantômas album, the follow-up to 2005’s Suspended Animation, is currently in the works for a tentative June 2009 release. Details are still sketchy, though Patton has previously hinted in Rock-A-Rolla that it will be “an all electronic record”. Patton’s Mondo Cane project, meanwhile, will finally release its debut album, likewise via Ipecac, in March ’09. The early word is that the LP will have a “Morricone-esque” flavour.

This is an awesome discovery:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COROT-Exo-7b

For those too lazy to click, it's the smallest extra-solar planet to be discovered yet. It's diameter is 1.7 times that of Earth's, and it has a 20 hour orbital period. The star it orbits is 390 light years away, and it's a little smaller than the sun. It's temperature is around 1000 and 1500 degrees, which means its surface is possibly covered in lava or water vapor. THIS IS SO COOL!!

Ooooh...How interesting this discovery could be. :D

Shame by the time the planet has probably cooled off enough for the probablity of life, we most likely wouldn't be around to see it :(

And travelling 390 light years is not the easiest task, either. :P
