It's a tempo thing. They're going to be way behind the beat due to the time it takes for the sound to get to them and back to Dev. So it was probably for concentration's sake that he said that. You should watch the rest of the Download Festival SYL show--there are some pretty funny lines (along with some great performances).

I have seen the first couple installments of the Download Festival that were up on youtube - I haven't seen them all yet though. I remember Deth had said something about naming a piece of Devy snot (which appears sometime during the show) "Intrepid."

I think that Christmas being only 2 days away is pretty awesome. It's going to be a very frugal Christmas this year, as money is really really tight - but it's years like this that you appreciate the stuff you get all the more since there's less of it. No MusicMan Bongo's are going to be under the tree this year *sigh*
