Remember when I opened up about my poor shuffle in my MP3 player?
Ok, I removed all Dredg from there, replaced them with more Death and Devin.
I did a test this morning to see how it reacted..
(I'll just write the artist/the band, songs are not that important here)
Death
Death
Death
Death
Arch Enemy
Death
Devin
Devin
Devin
Metallica
Death
Death
Death
Dragonforce
Death

Notice a pattern here?

I have 4 albums of Death, 2 Devin, and 5 other ones, so there would be plenty to choose from.
But still this is quite annoying :D

I say take all artists that have names starting with "D" and see how the thing reacts! It might explode or something...haha

Actually its almost like my iPod when i hook it upw to my xbox. It constantly wants to play the Ghost Albums from NIN...

What brand and model is your MP3 player? I'll see if I can find a firmware update that might fix this for you. I can only imagine that this is very annoying.

Looks like they made it easy for you with an update utility, but it's complicated to get you to the manual :P

Go to http://gb.lgservice.com/index_b2c.jsp , click on "Device Driver", select "Audio Systems", "Windows XP", type "12" in the box and hit "Search". Then click on the "FM12_15S_FW_Update_Guide.pdf" link and it'll show you how to update the firmware, that might fix your wobbly shuffle :)

Finally heard the new Kaizer's Orchestra album. Great, as always. Anyone here a fan?

edit: I'm thinking no one here knows the band, and I'm a bit surprised if that's the case. They're influenced largely by Tom Waits, who conversely is a fan of theirs (They did an 'artist favorites' thing on amazon a while ago, he said his favorite band no one has heard of is Kaizers Orchestra). The vocalist has a great voice. Here's a few videos, one from each album:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JoLpJx-bsU

that's in chronological order. they have four albums. the first and third are my favorites.

The good thing about alcohol is how it punishes you afterwards.
