Yep. It makes more sense having the avatar and details on the left because our brains are accustomed to reading left to right and our eyes scan that way automatically. So.. yeah... it is going to mess with my head for a while that's for sure.

I read that the other day too. They tried to block their ISPs from YouTube but some engineer got the server address wrong (or something like that) and ended up 'breaking' YouTube for everybody.

Disturbing though that they would pull that censorship crap in the first place.

Reports said Pakistan made the move because YouTube content included Danish cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad that have outraged many.

But one report said a trailer for a forthcoming film by Dutch lawmaker Geert Wilders, which portrays Islam in a negative light, was behind the ban.

I've heard that censorship is bound with elections in Pakistan, so it's more politics that religion. Either way, it's shit.

Yeah, Islam can be very annoying (christianity seems more mild mannered these days), not that long ago there was major outrage with Muhammad's caricatures on wikipedia, luckily wikipedia ignored fundamentalists and depicitons are still there. There are lots of people who would drag internet back to middle ages if only could.
