I chose something a little unusual when I got him, to be different.

Thanks all you guys, it means a lot to me.
He had a good, long life (rotties usually only live to around 11 years) and is now buried in the back yard; where he used to patrol so diligently.

I've always grown up with dogs and know what amazing companions they can be.

I can't wait until I'm living in a situation where I can keep 1 or 2 (kind of hard to do in a flat/apartment!).

I celebrated a little last night (I skipped yoga...bad me) with a few glasses of wine. I'm drinking the Gatorade. But I ended up with POS' Be DVD in the player, so it was worth it.
