Fuck.

Yesterday morning we had an enormous windstorm rip through here.
Trees went down...several hit power transformers in the area causing several huge explosions, and 60,000 volts went through every house in my street.

We had no electricity for 29 hours - everything in my fridge is spoiled, and my computer (which I'd left on at the time) was cooked, along with my old monitor. Thank GAWD my TV was left unscathed. The huge surgeguard powerboard I'd bought for it and my surround system appears to have done the trick. My neighbours weren't so fortunate.

At least there were no fires or damage to trees/houses in my street. *wipes brow*

Electricity, eh? Master of us all.

Oh, and I've sent an email off to Doug (Cybermartyr) informing him of the problems we've been having with profile access, so hopefully he'll take a look at it in good time.

My sig has been fixed.

There are many more problems other than forum access. Would be nice to see links to other threads working, for example. And the resizing of images signatures is pretty annoying IMO.

My car, Ford Escort 1.8 16V is falling apart, that !
It cost me 300 euros to get it fixed 5 months ago,
and now it needs again some fixing.

But hey, it is my birthday, I don't need to think about any
car stuff today, do I?

If I ever said anything bad about my little brother, I take everything back.
I got a new Photoshop from him

From boyf I got my Pan's Labyrinth (it wasn't missing at all, he just took it from
the mail so I would think I wouldn't get it :lol) and a toaster that I can use
as a mirror, it's so shiny!
(I love toasts, so actually this time household food-orientated presents are ok).

Also got Hello Kitty stuff (scarf, bag, socks), Powerpuff girls lunchbox
and a vanilla bun

Now I finally see how big actually my signature is!
I will fix it tomorrow at work, since today I will be too busy watching Pan
Don't worry, try to hang on, maybe already the next time you come back
it won't widen the whole page like crazy!
