Yeah it could but I'm more interested in Germany, France and Holland.

I see, well from what I know of Germany, some parts are meant to have the same weather as us, which appears to be quite sunny for this late in the year, but it would depend on where you were going in Germany.
I'm not a native there (although sometimes I wish I was), I've just visited a few times and the weather seemed to be the same, maybe even a little better than what I was used to!
As for France, I just know that its usually quite sunny over there most of the time but again I'm not a native, just going on what people have told me over the years (which isn't always that reliable).
Holland I can be no help on, although I would like to know what it is like over there weather wise, I plan on visiting sometime.

Me and my friend are going to spend a month somewhere around there next year. We're trying to choose between july and september.

I'm a bit afraid that july could be too hot for two finnish prehistoric-icemans like us And of course if we go for september there'll be plenty of time to make money in june-august.

What about rains? Is there such thing as "the rainy season" outside Britain?

Although it is a bit of a phenomenon, I do believe that there is in fact a rainy season outside of Britain.

Quite rare though for the time of year you are planning to go on your travels I would have thought.

If this years summer is anything to go by, anytime in August or September should be quite nice to pay a visit to one of the country you are contemplating. You also have the added bonus of being able to earn some spending money before hand

4 seasons. We have them all
Summers are quite short. The best weather is usually in july-august. 20-30+ celsius. The last three day have been really hot.
It's pretty hard to predict rains. Sometimes it rains, sometimes it doesn't.
Last summer it didn't rain at all and this summer we've had weeks of constant rain.
Winters are getting shorter and warmer but the temperature is still somewhere around -10-20.

The nature is great in lapland but the insane amount of mosquitos sucks ass.

People are quiet and shy. That's no stereotype it just is that way.

I can't think anything interesting to say right now. It was a rough day yesterday

Edit: Oh an about the mosquitos, there may be more of them in Finland than anywhere else (I'm not kidding) BUT they show up only near forest and never before evening. And I'm fairly sure they don't carry any diseases. I've been bitten thousands of times and nothing has ever happened.

Sounds like the kind of place I'd like to visit

Well I know for a fact that there are a lot more immigrants in Sweden than what there is in Finland.

So that makes moving to Finland even harder.

I know few people who have moved into Finland from
far, other one studies something and other one is working and they
don't have any odder problems than finnish people do.

So I guess, if you know what you are going to do in here,
it can't be that hard.
And hey, Finland is Winland!

People here usually talk english very well (well, at least you
will be able to understand them) and many are eager to teach common finnish frases to a foreigner

That makes me all the more eager to visit!

Its always nice when people help out by teaching common phrases in their language to foreigners.

Adds to the experience and personally, I like learning different languages so it'd be perfect
