My doggie Pippin damaged his spine on Sunday. He has 2 ruptured discs which have resulted in the paralysis of his back legs and bowels. So needless to say, Will and I are now the parents of a "special needs" child. The good news is that he's stretching out his back legs and still has sensation in them. It's just going to be a very long recovery (if and when he does recover). We're trying to stay positive, and keep him positive...it's just hard because he doesn't undestand why he can't run around anymore and do the little doggie things he used to do. :(

So anyways, please keep all your fingers and toes crossed for him! :)

all the luck in the freaking world unto you and your doggie

That rocks! When I get pished I force my dad to listen to SYL. He doesn't get it but for a 56 year old who likes Enter Sandman by Metallica, hes not a bad chap.

All the luck to Pippin man, hope he makes a full recovery.

On another note, why do music shops in England have to be so utterly shite (most of the time)?

He helped produce (presumably) and/or raise you; it should go without saying that he's "not a bad chap", as you ain't so bad yourself, Oh Great Hogged One. :D

All the music shops in my town have closed down. now I've only got Woolworths or WH Smiths.

There's no way I'd be able to function with just a Woolworths or WH Smiths.
At least if I went to one of those though I'd know that they wouldn't have what I want unlike HMV or Virgin who have the slight possiblilty to build me and then disappoint me when I get there.

Makes me think they're sadistic when it comes to heavy music and the selection they offer, bearing in mind I use the term selection loosely (most of the time anyway).

Rant over!

:)
