The main production thing that stood out in my mind was that you should compress the drumkit a little, I think.

Awsome, can't wait to hear it with vocals. I like the arrangement to, also the delay, the delay is awsome.

That's the thing. The original DFH is just one single stereo out for everything with Battery. If you add effects, you're going to add it to the entire drumkit at the same time.

I really need to find DFH Superior somewhere. DFH2 is ridiculously resource hungry (500+ MB just for it on the Quick Load sets, not to mention full kits) and DFH has its own problems.

Et ole vain sisäistänyt maailman vaativinta salakieltä :) Eiköhän se siitä aukene vuosien saatossa

 :P

Hyvä suomi = Go, Finland!
Ihan helvetin hyvä! = Goddamn great!
Et ole vain sisäistänyt maailman vaativinta salakieltä = You just haven't quite grasped the most demanding secret language on the earth
Eiköhän se siitä aukene vuosien saatossa = I'm sure it'll unveil itself to you over the years

Tuota kyllä epäilen = I doubt it

Finnish isn´t really the easiest language in the world, according to my Swedish friends. :D

According to official research it is tho, I'm serious. Apparently, the grammar and spelling are very straight-forward?
I think Chinese was rated the hardest language, followed by Dutch.

The grammar is quite the opposite of being straightforward and easy

Well, let's put it this way:

I have never heard anyone non-native speak or write proper Finnish. You can immediately tell they are not native. And some of them have been studying the language a lot and lived here for over decades too.

I repeat, you can tell immediately :)

Suck my makkara! :D

Swedish grammar is supposed to be quite hard to master because of all exceptions, I believe Finish is superior in that way. Pronouncing is a different story... ;)

It sounds really hilarious when my friends try to immitate my Finnish, for me it´s hard to understand how it can be so hard for them to say the words. I´m lucky, I pronounce both perfect Finnish and perfect Swedish (rikssvenska, inte finlandssvenska!).

It's belated, I know... but I have now uploaded a mixdown of "Vampira" with my vocals and guitar solos on it.... It's on this page:

http://www.soundclick.com/gregreason

TJ, if you want me to send you the raw data of my contributions so you can do a mixdown yourself, let me know and I'll YouSendIt to you or something.
