Well, the title says it all, its my opinion anyway. Because most of those songs are way too good to not be on an official album. As much as i enjoy the original songs, it would rule so much if they were recorded in one context, one flow so to speak, just like his other great albums, all songs depend on eachother is that way i see it. And maybe it should be recorded together with the Christeen EP to make it longer. What do you think about this? I mean, a brilliant song like Promise would in my opinion fit perfectly into any of Devys best albums. It would be cool if Devy took this suggestion into consideration

but a couple of the songs may sneak their way on some of Devins future cds I think.......like there was supposed to be one on Synchestra but they scrapped it from the tracklisting.......*cough*RELEASE IT AS A BONUS TRACK*cough*.....

I kinda doubt it too, since obviously Dev himself thought the songs werent good enough for the albums, since he didnt have them on, maybe we should all be happy he released them for us at all.

On Ass-Sordid I, most of the songs were re-recorded as an album in 1996 with the Ocean Machine lineup. And if you listen to it from start to finish, you'll notice that they do in fact flow together. I don't see how he could have integrated the songs any better than he did. Ass-Sordid II was a little more "authentic" in that Dev used the original versions rather than re-doing it all, and I think it served its purpose well...

Also consider that he would be rehashing music that he has already rehashed once...but what the hell. Maybe after re-re-recording the songs, he could remix them...and then do remixes of the remixes...heck, he might never have to write an original song again!
