Dev's noisy ambient stuff has encouraged me to sit down and let my psyche flow out a bit these days.
The result is a noisy clusterfuck called "HeartSoulAmbivalence" I just finished today. I am NOT trying to rip off the Dev or try to copy him or something. I just wanted to see how it feels letting my creativity out in a new way.
A strange but oddly satisfying experience for me.
More stuff will definitely follow

Whenevr I sit down to make another one it just flows out and I find myself using more and more technology. The voice sample on this one is my voice, recorded with my cellphone. The blackmetal guitar was played by yours truely as well with a riff that I pulled right out of my ass, first take. The rest is dynamics and tons of intuitive technology abuse.
...I wonder how somebody on dope reacts to this? Part on me wants to have somebody smoke a fattie and listen to this over headphones...another part of me wants The Dev to come in and tell me to stop the shit and fuck off, hahaha

I used my Casio CTK 691 keyboard with some fucked up user sounds (including Opera singer Anna Netrebko), loads of samples, my cellphone, my guitarprocessor and Adobe Audition 1.5

This is pretty awesome stuff! As with Devlab or Infodump, I think that you have to be a bit 'mental' to listen to something like this (let alone make it!!!).

But thats exactly why I dig it.

I will keep these songs and report back to you on how they feel under different circumstances.

If I had some webspace I would love to make a track or two like this. Fucking around with sounds on Cool Edit Pro is so much fun!

song number four is in the works. It's supposed to be the last song of the concept and the last track on the album. It has no name yet but deals with a dude jumping off a high building, and that's exactly what you hear, from his perspective. *shudder*
