Bleh...that album was painful to listen to. I might get some other Gabriel-era Genesis album down the road, but comparing his era to what I've heard of Collins' era, I prefer the latter.

i'm just at discovering the 70's prog gods.
my favourites are KING CRIMSON - they're just brilliant!!! ("Islands" is my favourite until now).
other bands like GENESIS (for sure) and VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR kick ass as well. what is more, i own "octopus" by GENTLE GIANT - but they're still a bit too - i don't know - the singing is quite strange, or let's say the voice is to get used to.

didn't know until appr. a year ago, that there have been SUCH great bands in the late 60's/70's.

another band i want to get to know is YES, but i don't know where to begin and if they are really my taste of music. suggestions anyone???

King Crimson are amazing.

If you're going to start listening to Yes, Fragile is your best bet as far as albums go, it's the most accesable and has alot of good stuff. However, if you want their more epic, experimental stuff, try Relayer or Tales Of Topographic Oceans. TOTO is 4 songs that all range at about 20 minutes, and it's really amazing if you give it some time. Relayer has one of the best recorded musical performances ever in "Sound Chaser".

I have 11 Yes albums. :)

Right now, Devy's "Official Bootleg" is pleasing my ears.

I almost want to listen to all of Lateralus again after having Triad randomly pop up on my playlist, but for now it's Annihilator's "All For You" album.
