*shakes hands*
i'm just at discovering the 70's prog gods.
my favourites are KING CRIMSON - they're just brilliant!!! ("Islands" is my favourite until now).
other bands like GENESIS (for sure) and VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR kick ass as well. what is more, i own "octopus" by GENTLE GIANT - but they're still a bit too - i don't know - the singing is quite strange, or let's say the voice is to get used to.
didn't know until appr. a year ago, that there have been SUCH great bands in the late 60's/70's.
another band i want to get to know is YES, but i don't know where to begin and if they are really my taste of music. suggestions anyone???

The new assemblage is so boring. Die Krupps rule. Hell yeah more people should be listening to Dj Shadow endtroducing was my favouite high school record.
Good call.

I just can't stop listening to everything Liv Kristine Espenes Krull has done her voice is so beautiful.
J'ai d'autres loups à fouetter !!! - Haywire Lycanthropy!!!
Yeah, Endtroducing is a class album. I'm at that age now where i don't give a shit about categorising music, I either like it or i don't. And that album is good. I like most the Assemblage stuff, it just makes a change from my usual Slayer/Maiden/Megadeth/Pantera/ZZ Top/Mnemic side.
I also like some guy called Devin something. Can't remember his surname for the life of me
