Are you talking about a religious institution or the band? ;) Steve Kilbey and co always struck me as such nice fellows.

Yeah I don't want to offend anyone so I'll refrain from commenting :)

^Lol yeah, touchy subject there. Also Bookwyrm, sorry you shit yourself. I wish I didn't know what that felt like. That's one of the chapters of my life I know all too well.

Thanks.
I don't know why I shared it to be honest, I figured if I owned it and made it amusing, I and others would feel better. Not sure how that works but it I can see that it does, somehow.

And suddenly this pops into my head:
When you're eating butter curry
And your bowels turn into slurry
Diarrhea diarrhea

Haha, poop humor is my forte. So I don't care what is shared in that vein by anyone. Obviously can't speak for anyone else. :P

After trying my best to stay positive over the past few weeks, we had our suspicions confirmed today, my grandma has cancer :(

She's 84, and one of life's real characters (or nut cases, depending on your point of view) She's so full of life and fire and personality, it's so not freaking fair that she has to go through this! And she's being so freaking brave, it's unbelievable. She's spent the last 4 months in uber excitement mode because we've got a baby on the way, she's bought out half of the local department store for clothes until the nipper's 2 and now we're sitting her wondering if she'll get to meet her, and facing the prospect that my little girl probably won't get to remember her.

We're waiting for her to get an appointment with the oncologist before we know more, but what I know right now isn't comforting :(

Cancer sucks.

Agreed. Hopefully your baby will be able to meet her. Cancer is truly a detestable thing.

My girlfriend and I basically got overlooked and snubbed at by this comic and his wife that we met in line for Guardians of the Galaxy - we hit it off that night, but today they basically acted as if we were an inconvenience to them.

Basically, the story of my life - and I'm about to quit trying to socialize.

All the best to your grandmother, Frag. Same age as my Nana! They made them tough back then.
