Three fucking weeks. All because I was apparently not good enough; sorry, not suited for the position. Not because I was lazy, nor was I rude to my fellow employees or any of the customers. No, I was just not suited to a role which was briefly summed in advertising but turned out to have a shitload of facets that were barely explained before I was thrust into the deep end.
Some of it I didn't even get to learn, while my manager casually voiced a lack of confidence that I would ever be able to do these things. Yeah, perhaps better training and a less defeatist attitude would have bolstered my confidence instead of bullshit like "I've been doing this for years, I know how it works, you've been here less than a month and you're not on the same level."

To hell with it.

:( I'm sorry man. That's horrible. Sounds like a douchebag of a person.

Past few months I've had a mouse in my house. Sadly I do not own a cat else it would have been resolved back in like, February. FINALLY after my mum mocking me for buying a buttload of traps (insisting poison was the way) we have a tiny corpse flung across the doorway in one of my waste of time traps. But as I am far too ridiculous, I don't wanna go near it and I'm stuck in the house. I phoned my dad and he told me to put a bucket over it and wait for him to come over, told him the bucket was in the garage and I couldn't get there, he just laughed. Wah.

I can relate to this with spiders any larger than a quarter.

I'm fine with spiders, roaches, barf etc. But mice just make me freak the shit out. I finally plucked up the courage after putting some very tall shoes on to get the bucket and now I have to wait for my dad to get here to fling it over the fence into nextdoor's garden.

Random, unexpected, nasty arsed bit of depression that came out of nowhere.

Hopefully working my way through it now.

I feel for you. I've noticed lately I've been sleeping for 10-12 hours. Not good on many levels.

May I suggest bananas, as they not only lift your energy but make you feel better, like chocolate only without the guilt. Works for me.

Take care matey. And do eat those bananas. I'd also recommend going for a bike ride if you can. And bring some bananas.

Thanks guys! Hopefully events outside my control will console to make life a little easier.

I am indeed smashing the bananas and getting sunshine/vit D (tested as D deficient). As soon as I can move on from my current living arrangements I'll be planning some bike rides. My poor Giant is sitting in the shed unloved.

I hope things lift for you too, George.

You guys... Yer the best.

Feel better soon!! Have dark chocolate-dipped bananas :D And seriously getting outside helps, even if it's the last thing you feel like doing. Go walking if biking is too much.

Edit: Forgot to add, Omega 3's!!
