With GTA V only a few days away, it's now got its own social network: LifeInvader (You can log in with your R* Social Club account!)

Financially I won't be able to afford GTA V for awhile, it seems. But I'm not going to let the wait drive me crazy. I'll just have to avoid major spoilers in this thread.

Instagram user dabzombi has put up 20+ short videos of GTA V gameplay. Apparently he got it early.
Watch out for spoilers, though. But I can't guarantee that they have spoilers, either. I didn't watch the videos myself.

That said I'll have a newborn baby and a 2 year old hampering my gaming time somewhat.

Just got confirmation that GTA V has been dispatched. Might make the next weekend a long one once it arrives.

I preordered GTA V off amazon. Got lucky too and have that day and the next day off. Going to be a good few days

I received a certain special edition of a certain game today that starts with a G and ends with TA5. First thoughts...sweet. But a few technical hickups. More than I figured so far. Quite a bit of pop up and pop in. But oh well, looks fuckin brilliant anyways!

edit: OK, Rockstar suggests to not install the 'play' disc of GTA5 as installing it can cause performance problems. So I'll uninstall it again and will play GTA5 with wonderful Xbox360-vacuum cleaner-sounds.

ok, I can confirm...if you have the game for Xbox 360 then do not under any circumstances install the play disc, only install the one that you are forced to install. Otherwise the game does not tun super well with a lot of pop up and pop in and more framerate problems. If you do it the proper way it runs nicely. I'm liking the game so far. OK, the first character you are playing in Lost Santos is not super interesting yet and car races still frustrate the living shit out of me but it's GTA...which means it's fun!

Glad I'm not the only one. I usually avoid GTA car races like the plague, when they should be huge fun.

In my opinion, car races in GTA were best realized in Vice City. III wasn't so bad once you got the hang of it (too many buildings in the way in parts). The Stories spin offs were a bit more annoying, but not as much as the races in San Andreas or IV (episodes included), which are the most painful. That said, I enjoy the biker races in Lost and Damned the most out of the IV series.

Since I'll be getting the PS3 version of V, I imagine installation difficulties will be minimal.

GTA 5 is getting better and better, still miss a bit of the campy humor from GTA4 within GTA5's story line but it's great anyways

I fucking LOVED the jewelry store heist, that was sooo much fun. The whole way you set it up and then execute the mission, it was just fun. Just now started my first missions with Trevor. Boy, oh boy...that dude's nuts but I love him. Can't wait to see how crazy he can really get. I also like the little references to past GTA games.

I noticed one thing though. Cops are just a lot more INSANE in this game and they'll do anything to stop you.

Lol, thanks Lars. Been marathon-ing it when I could so I'm good. Just don't spoil the ending, since I'm not there yet. It's fantastic though, Trevor's an amazing character.

this game is so freaking awesome! And so fuckin violent! I have no idea how Rockstar managed to get a rating for this game in Germany. There's a ton of games that didn't in the past and they are much less violent, hehe.

just did a mission where I, playing as Trevor, had to torture a guy. Holy fuck The game is insanely fun though and the missions are amazing. Way better than in GTA4. But still.....I HATE HELICOPTERS SO MUCH!!!!!
