Karnivool - Asymmetry

Loving it on the first couple of listens!

Decided that one night of Allan Holdsworth in November wasn't enough, so got tickets for a second night. Every time he comes over I think it'll be the last, cos he's like old and I get the feeling not a massive fan of his homeland

Bought those Marshall Monitors I've been drooling over. I think I'll consider these a "back to Uni" present for myself. :D

It really pays to google around. These cans still retail for the MSRP of 200

I've been amazed at the weight I've lost just by walking a few kms each day and not eating certain things (for reasons other than weight loss).

I must admit though that if I was motivated only by weight loss I would have found it hard to say goodbye to a lot of the food and booze I used to pour down my throat!

Hope you get to where you want to be. :D

I'm doing pretty well with the training programme I'm on at the moment. Long may it continue. I'm not dieting, just changing my body composition to include more muscle and thereby gradually burn off middle-aged spread just by default. However, many challenges yet to come! It'll be a long, slow process.

Probably pretty important that it is kind of slow and measured (based on my experiences anyway).

I'd like to start incorporating some weight training too (started up earlier this year but a bunch of things prevented me from continuing). I find weight training infinitely more enjoyable than cardio too. It gives and amazing endorphine rush... sometimes!

Anyway none of that will happen with a baby due in December!
