Saw them myself for the first time last year. Age has not wearied them.

Nursing (very) sick ferret. Daughter's favourite pet. She has music exams tomorrow. This may not progress well.

Nope. It died last night. We've not had much luck with wee animals of late.

Unpacking also sucks balls.

Although, I learnt a valuable lesson while packing: don't think candles will make it more relaxing, you'll just knock one of them over with a box, ruin the carpet and lose money off the deposit.

Sad to hear about the ferret :( Came at a bad time too, although I suppose there's never a right time.

Mother's Day lunch, everyone's neurotic, we all circle each other like dogs, any minute now a major fight will ensue...
But that was yesterday, and all is well now. Now I'm back at work, and my head hurts. Oh woe is me.

That happens to me every time I look in the mirror.

But, not to be flippant, hope your adrenaline rush eases off soon and you feel okay again. Cup of tea.

Thanks for the tip! With a curious toddler in the house we're a candle free household at the moment (not big on the candles myself, although I am partial to sandlewood incense).

Unawesome: A very major Meniere's Disease attack (almost got myself bundled up and taken to the ER, but avoided that) screwed up my packing this weekend, so that wasn't too awesome. Oh yeah, I learned that Dana White, the boss/owner of the UFC has Meniere's and even tried surgery to reduce the symptoms. Even if you detest MMA, he's living proof that you don't lie down when life hands you something shitty - you do your best and live your life the best you can and you can still have a freaking great time. :D
