One of my best friends released a single on Wednesday and is flying up the iTunes charts... Number 2 on the singer-songwriter charts and 60 on the overall singles charts at the moment, which is seriously impressive considering its just a nice, quiet, self-recorded acoustic song. He probably won't get to #1 cos Passenger is 1 on both the singer-songwriter and overall charts, but still... I'm delighted for him. Guy is a wizard at self-promotion and hasn't had the easiest time of things recently (dropped a piano and crushed his left foot to smithereens, for example!) so he totally deserves the success that looks to be coming to him.

I was browsing Metal Archives when I saw Nickleback had a page (they are the newest entry at time of writing).

April Fools joke of the highest order! Had to take a screenshot before it gets deleted.

The reviews are hilarious - check em out while you can.

"the sing-a-long anthemic chorus to Sea Groove "I'm on a motherfucking boat!" which I could just fucking shout all day because it's original to do that. No one thinks of shouting that you're on a boat while sitting in a house!"

I'm so disappointed this isn't true, someone needs to write a Nickleback song about being on a boat.

Possibly spending them on some ME3 DLC, if I ever get around to playing that. I seem to keep avoiding it for some reason.

oh, you shouldn't. Get the extended cut DLC and it should be fine. All the whining about the endings was total BS in my opinion because even if one REALLY

I must admit, I've only just started Skyrim because the massive hype prior to and around its release got right on my fucking nerves.

I was actually quite alright with how ME ended though, but the extended cut does give it more impact and a much more emotional ending. Regardless of how the writers would have chosen to end the trilogy, there'd be people whining about it. They didn't do too badly with it overall, imho.

Aaaaaanyway, carry on!

Just found out that the holiday originally starting April 29th and ending May 3rd is apparently extended by a week and is now ending on May 10th. As I've already got a flight to Steph and back, I'm going to have to see if I can extend that (should it be okay with her... :P )

That said... Does anyone know how it works when postponing a flight back? Is it generally possible? Specifically KLM should any of you fellow Dutchies know.

There might be an additional fee when changing your booking (depending on airline, booking policy, and how far in advance you're making a change), but it shouldn't be much of a problem if it's a regular service. Just contact them with your booking information and to which flight you'd like to change your return; I doubt it'll give you much trouble.

Aite, I'll check it out when I get home tonight. I was afraid that it'd cost me the price of both tickets. Thanks, uncle Pom!
