Talk about whatever you want to here, but stay correct

Hey there,

I suppose I should begin by stating my name, which I shall do.. but only the first four letters because I find it to be embarrassing.
It's Chan.

I'm Nineteen, with my 20th in 2 months, 13 days.

I discovered DT/DTP/SYL through my .. unfortunately, now former.. boyfriend. At first I thought the man [DT] was insufferable and very obviously insane,
but as our time together wore on, and his music became an unwitting soundtrack to literally everything I did at home [He's a huge guitar buff, blared DT and his projects CONSTANTLY, and is still attempting to master the whole of his musical portfolio], I realized that I actually kind of liked it. It was grandiose, a truly spectacularly mind-boggling circus or chemistry experiment of music, lyrics, and .. admittedly... the most beautiful and powerful male voice I've ever heard. I also discovered he shares the same mental disorder that I do, and thus.. his thoughts are actually relatively easy for me to follow. Doesn't make them seem any less insane, but it's nice to know I'm not alone. Eventually my affection for DT grew to a level that can only be considered true and unbridled love. I'd quietly watch as James [aforementioned former boyfriend] showed me videos of interviews, and thought.. just how lovely a person he [DT] is. How likeable, odd, and interesting. Completely out of his right mind but in the most spectacular and productive way... somehow.

While the roots for my love of DT are , admittedly... 'our' Band/Artist... I can't help that his music continues to move to me to extraordinary degrees. I laugh, I sob [truly, awful, hideous tears], I soar. If I had to name my favorites, Epicloud would be an obvious given because, well, it's just sheer mad hatter-level of musical genius, but I also have a soft spot for Ki, Ghost, Synchestra, Terria, Infinity, and Ocean Machine. I truly love all of them - I have all of them, but the aforementioned ones are my absolute favorites. Which is a term I use loosely because he in and of himself is actually my favorite male musical artist, period.

I apologize if this introduction is lengthier than what's acceptable. Just had to get that out there. I'm looking to find a new forum home, hopefully things go well in that direction.

Anyways,

thank you for reading my rambly word-vomit.
