My brother's been spinning Dubstep for years man, this shit's bubblegum from a guy who made another kind of bubblegum before...
I'm seriously not trying to be that guy, but fuck that guy for making money on an inferior form of music pioneered and made from the blood sweat and tears from artists who struggled.

I'm pretty sure he just made something he liked and the money-making just kind of happened afterwards. If you want somebody to hate then hate Korn and their collaboration with Skrillex. Besides, the kid is talented there's no denying that.

He did work hard. He started out with some real original stuff on his first two EPs. The guy's been on a real adventure, it looks awesome.

If those pioneers were only bleeding, sweating and crying to try and get rich... well then fuck them too.
I can't help but like the dude. As Aleksi said, I'm pretty sure he just sat on his computer and started making music to enjoy himself, and the fame/money just kinda happened.
And now that it has, it's not like he's become some ungrateful ego sitting back in his new million dollar mansion. He's touring constantly. He's writing new music constantly. He loves his fans.
He played a spontaneous show at a pub in London to about 100 people in August. Similarly this show I'm going to; it's at a new venue in Manchester. He heard about it and thought "Let's give it a PROPER opening!" and managed to fit an unscheduled UK date in on a thursday night.
I dunno. To me it's clear he's only in it for the love of the world of music. How can you hate somebody for that? Hate his music, that's fine. But the dude himself? Meh. He's a good kid.
