season 3 of The Walking Dead has been terrific so far! I'd even say that these few episodes were better than the entire first and second season combined. I'm very satisfied!

Rather enjoying Richard E Grant's Hotel Secrets on Sky Atlantic... he just makes the show with his obvious glee.

I just finished watching both seasons of Game of Thrones... and before that I saw the first season of The Wire... and before that I saw all episodes of Breaking Bad...
I really really like Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones, but honestly... I don't get the big deal with The Wire. :o

Sure... it's good.. but, quite frankly... It was a bit boring. I did like many of the characters though.

Now... what should I watch next? :| (You shouldn't, Faffy. You should do your coursework)

I just finished season 2 of The Walking Dead. It's a good show, I dig it. But I don't feel it's mind blowingly original or anything. Just entertaining, and maybe it doesn't need to be more than that.

Also all caught up on Once Upon a Time. I don't think I've heard anyone talk abouy it on here, but really... It's a damn good show. You have to look past some of the bad acting, cheesiness, and kiddiness of some of it, but it's super we'll written. The new spins they put on fairy tales and Disney lore is really astounding. Sure, you have to be into that kind of stuff (which I am) but I'd highly recommend it.

Watch season three! It makes season two look like absolute shiiiiiiiite. I love Walking Dead but I will admit season two dragged a LOT and the only good thing that really came out of it was Norman Reedus being awesome. Season three, on the other hand, has been fucking brilliant so far. So stick with it!

If you want serious and magnificent perhaps Boardwalk Empire, Deadwood or Sopranos... If you want comedy Arrested Development or The Thick of It or if you just want mindless entertainment value try the aforementioned The Walking Dead or perhaps Dexter. (screw your coursework)

Thanks for the recommendations! :D I already watch Dexter like crazeh, so I suppose I should aim for the "mindless entertainment value" then. The Walking Dead it is. :P
I suppose the reason why I like Dexter, Breaking Bad and such (well, besides the whole 'double life' scenario) is the' high "ermagherd I can't wait for next episode!!" factor.

THIS! Season 3 so far has been a lot more intense, tragic and dramatic than both previous seasons combined. And the body count is fucking insane! Best zombie kills ever, thanks to Michonne!

Or Californication. Or Doctor Who. Or Fringe. Or Lilyhammer. Or Modern Family. Or Parks & Recreation. Or Sherlock. Or The Fades. Or The Killing. Or The Shield.

And I'm sure there are loads more.

Wow! Thanks everyone! :D

That was a LOT of suggestions. I guess it's time for the elimination method!
I'm already halfway into the 2nd season of The Walking Dead. And I have watched all of Six Feet Under, Breaking Bad and Dexter (so far). Aaaaand I have already downloaded Lilyhammer. And I think we can scratch comedies off the list because I am a saaaaad girl who only watches comedies in the company of others. :P

So.. which of the remaining series are most exciting? :D

Sherlock. I always forget to say it for some reason, Biert just reminded me after he wrote it... but that show is seriously awesome.

I like The Walking Dead. Season 1 was the shit, Season 2 was more like a soap but I still enjoyed it. Season 3 is better again, but honestly I don't like the town storyline much. It's cheesy. The prison makes up for it though. :)

I've been watching Breaking Bad lately, at last! Started last friday, I'm at episode 4 right now. Of the third season. I feel like a nolifer right now but I have no regrets. It's a great, great show.

Next up is probably The Wire.
