Talk about whatever you want to here, but stay correct

To avoid the hassle of making ATMs with and without braille?

What I'd like to know is why on earth do some albums have their so called hidden tracks just added to the end of the final track, usually after some considerable length of silence? With CDs it doesn't matter, but when you have them as mp3s, they become a pain in the ass.

Similarly to the cat food thing, I used to sell baby goods as a job and I always wondered why they made 'gourmet' flavours of baby food like beef and veg risotto and plain nasty sounding ones like tuna mornay. I mean, I love tuna mornay but I don't think babies would, they don't have any kind of refined taste. I can only imagine babies liking things that pretty much everyone likes, like chicken, fruit, custard, etc.

I think the hidden track thing is more or less something that was supposed to be a nice surprise if you bought the CD. I haven't seen any recent albums include them, probably because digital downloads are encompassing the whole music purchasing thing and like you said, they're a pain in the ass with the big space at the end.

This might be a silly question, but why is it when some people get banned from this forum, their posts remain for all the world to read (minus a few posts in some cases), despite their profiles no longer being active, yet others have their profiles and post history completely removed without a trace? Is it to do with the severity of their offenses?

That's a question for the Adminererererrrs. I don't know myself. I would guess it's something to do with what parts of their online identities get banned... somewhere in the dark recesses of the board.

One reason is basically to keep a record of what someone said or did, either for future reference or as sort of warning to others. If we delete a post it usually can't be recovered, so unless most/all posts are inflammatory or whatever they'll be kept. In addition, a user can also be deleted from the database entirely which means the original username is kept with those posts, but then no longer a profile will be associated with that username (which I think is what you're referring to).

As to how or why it happened in the past, dunno. Up to the preference of whichever admin did the banning I suppose.

Eventually the spam above message and user will be deleted (thankfully) but another thing I just gotta know - why the hell do these jerk-offs keep coming to this forum? Don't they know we prefer eggs, bacon, sausage and spam without the spam?

Hm.. how do I gift wrap a CD/DVD without making it obvious what it is? I've tried a shitload of news papers, but they still manage to guess it. :?

Why hide it? They don't know what CD or DVD you've got for them. :P

My best friend just told me that all he wants is the new DVD+Blu Ray edition of Titanic. I think he'll be able to guess it :P

EDIT: maybe I'll put it in a shoe box or something. Previously I'd put CDs in empty sauerkraut cardboard boxes. "Merry Christmas, here's some cabbage!"

Put two random blocks of wood on both sides just for the hell of it before you wrap it. If its a cd, make it a pyramid shape. Just because :D

A pyramid... I LIKE it. :D

My cousin once wrapped live-size guitar shaped cardboard...with a cd inside it, for my uncle. :P
