Hello from Finland.

The first time I heard Devin's voice was Human Equation a few years ago. At that time i didn't really dig into Dev's music and he was on that hiatus. Later I discovered that he had joined forces with Anneke. Gathering has been one of my favourite bands for a few years now (I'm a latebloomer with Anneke, too) and Anneke has become my favourite femalesinger. So it was Addicted that really got me hooked to Devin's music.

Now I have been listening to Dev about 4 years, have most of his records and DVDs, the favourite ones being Addicted, Ghost, Ocean Machine and AE. With Strapping I think i'm on the minority, because my favourite record is SYL. For Those Aboot to Rock and of course By a Thread are also on my repeated listens, from BaT my favourite part is actully the Ki concert, because of that atmosphere.

Currently I'm looking forward to November, I allready have ticket for my first Dev concert in Tampere. The biggest regret isthat I didn't go that Helsinki-show back in march 2011, I'm still kicking myself in the head for that constantly

I've actually had this account and been lurking around the forums with it for a while now..I guess I thought it was as good a time as any to come out of the shadows and actually start posting here with some form of regularity. I suppose comparatively I haven't been into Dev for all that long - a year or two maybe? - but yeah, I can't get enough of it all the same haha. Terria may just be my favourite album of all time. Anyways, it's good to be here, and I guess I'll see you guys around!

Greetings everyone! Long time Dev fan, first time poster.

Been a fan since 2003, from solo stuff to SYL to produced albums, I can't get enough! I have all of SYL's albums (City being my favorite) and was fortunate enough to catch them on their very last tour on Ozzfest 2006 and get my copy of "Alien" autographed by Dev, Gene, Byron and Jed; they were the only reason why I even bought a ticket to that lackluster lineup.

Currently looking forward to my 2 disc ltd. edition of "Epicloud" to come in the mail. Cannot wait to get blown away by Dev's music again!

Hi everyone

Im new to Devin Townsend, its only because Metal Hammer gave a killer review of Epicloud I decided to get it and Ive realised there has been a huuuuge Devin shaped hole in my music collection. Thanks to Spotify I got a lot of the back catalogue and its practically all Ive listened to for the last 6 weeks My husband and I went to the show in Manchester and its quite possibly one of the best gigs Ive ever been to.

So thank you Metal Hammer, Spotify, the amazing fans and of course Devin for just making the best music around.

Heya, my name is Gabe and I've been listening to Devin Townsend related music since 2004 when I discovered his amazing talent in SYL. There has never been a point in my life where I've been able to see him play live except the soon to come feb 10th in Detroit, MI and I'm incredibly excited, this is what brought me to the forum. His music has accompanied me through an amazing journey for the past 9ish years and I'm sure there are many of you who could say similar remarks. In my opinion, there will never be a musical artist who will equate to Devin; he defines himself into his own unique category as many great artists do. I hope to see some of you in Detroit on the 10th!

My name is Mike, I'm 21 and I'm studying biomedical engineering (and I'm sorry for my english, I don't use it to express myself very often). First time I've heard Devin was about 3 years ago when I found Him in my guitar teacher's favorites. I was amazed with Addicted, but listening His previous records was a struggle... I think I had to grow up. Or maybe that's because I tried to listen to all His records at the same time.
