I don't feel like being home, at all. I feel like I've just left it.

There hasn't been a single time where I didn't like coming home at least a bit. Seeing my family and pets again has always been nice. Sleeping in my own bed always felt nice again. Not this time. This time I don't really care for it all. This time I feel like I'm a foreigner in my own country. In my own bed. I already miss having someone next to me who I can wake up with.
There's this huge empty hole in my heart and it's eating me.

Everything just felt so right. Everything fit together so perfectly. I was truly happy being there.
As she said, this week has been like a dream. All I want to do is be back in that dream again.

D'awww. That is horrendously cute. You guys are going to have such an amazing time when she comes to visit you.

Thanks, uhm, Midget :). We definitely will have another amazing time :)

*Many amazing times :3

Ta Ruth ;)
I would apologise on behalf of us both to anyone going to the Retinal Circus, as we probably will be the sort of couple 'everyone loves to hate'...But I'm really not sorry. :P <3

A damn shame.

Turns out he had just been informed of having inoperable brain cancer. Makes a tad more sense.

Still unfortunate, either way. RIP.

Found out why my girlfriend hasn't returned my calls in nearly a month. I thought she had been giving me the cold shoulder, but she had actually been violently ill.

She and her parents went up to Port Douglas, Queensland for a week's holiday, and when she got back we were going to do stuff. Turns out she became very sick whilst up there, and had to spend another week in a Cairns hospital.

Got a call from her mother last night telling me they only got back recently and she's been bed-ridden, recovering, though she can't speak much. She also doesn't want me to see her like this, which I understand. Still, they could've notified me sooner. I was getting a bit antsy there for awhile. I'd rather worry about her getting better than worry she's decided to shrug me off for no apparent reason.

Awful news, man. Hope she starts feeling better soon.
Best wishes.

I can't help but find it odd that they didn't have 2 minutes spare in a month to tell you, but I'm not you and don't know your relationship at all so it's not for me to judge! All the best mate, I hope your girlfriend's road to recovery is a smooth one.

I'm with JuZ on that one. They could have lifted the phone.

Thanks guys.

I guess it's because they're very protective and they don't want to stress me out, although I have told them before to let me know if something happens.

I won't go deeper, suffice to say it's a complicated situation. At least they notified me eventually, and apologized for taking so long, I'll give them that.

Got a new roommate. He's ok but he smokes. I don't really 'crave' smoking but I constantly catch myself making excuses for bumming a cigarette. Kinda interesting to get to look at how my addiction works from this close but I don't want to exercise my mental gymnastics every day. Any tips?

Get a Sky Cig. Either for you or for him. They don't smell so you're not coming home to the smell of cigarettes, but also they're ideal for fagbums.

An electronic cigarette? No. Just no. I know I'll slip if I give in even an inch.

That and the fact they're absolutely shit. Tried those in my previous quests to quit and if they tasted or gave even a lesser hit of nicotine than an actual cigarette they could've helped.
Time to go cold turkey. Bleurgh!
