Thanks, dude. I'm better than I was at lunchtime. Absolutely knocked me for a loop, it has. Out of the folks I've met through music, he was honestly one of the good guys.

Carpe diem, I guess.

Yeah. Sudden death is awkward. You don't have to watch a person linger. Still, it just fucked me up bad. I used to have panic attacks whenever the boss' phone rang because I had flashbacks to when my wife finally got through with The Call about my mother. Then if I got out before dark, I'd get the shakes on the train if I noticed scenery. Getting laid off was totally the best thing for my mental state. Of course, my brother was dead a few days later which didn't help.

Thanks. We'll be okay. She's home and a bit sore/sullen but eating, drinking, and attempting to master three legged running already. In case the one-two of what would be my brother's birthday and the 2nd anni of my mom's death hits me too hard, I got a labcoat and some goggles. Plan to go to some nice conspicuous public place, quote Dr. Horrible, then wander off without a word of explanation.

The local missing girl's body has been found in her grandmother's house. Police are seeking to speak to the grandmother's boyfriend who...for some reason went missing yesterday evening.

edit* He's been arrested, he was found about half a mile away from my house...

He's been arrested but not charged, can't say anything about him until the police confirm their suspicions. What I don't understand is how the body was inside the house for a whole week which had been searched twice and they only just found it, as well as the fact that the grandmother's boyfriend had been questioned yesterday but released. It's looking incredibly embarrassing for Croydon Police right now...still can't get over the fact that after BBC News was alerting everyone (nationally) to not approach him as he is considered dangerous etc...he's round the corner from my gaff.
