Well done Octo. Now you can sleep.

I haven't slept well since about a week ago, so it's going to be quite like being dead

Although pre-planning would be a better idea because me and Orl will both more than likely be mongoloided for the entire time we're there. :D

Saturday the 1st of July in what year then? :P

I should be around Monday evenings. Sunday possibly, but I wouldn't count on me then.

I just found out my Fall vacation to Virginia coincides with Dev's fall tour. It'll be my first time. :)

It's a feast for all sense. My buddy Tamz saw/met him for the first time in November, everyone she tells the story to she always says "HE'S AMAZING, HE HELD MY HAND AND HE SMELLS LIKE A CAVE."

Sargent House Records are just plain awesome. They're having a bad ass sale this weekend, all their albums (save maybe a couple) are $1.99 for download, 5 physical CDs for $25, or 5 vinyls for $65. Holy crap that's awesome. Went on a spree last night and bought 11 CDs for $33. Fuckin' awesome. Artists purchased:

And So I Watch You from Afar
Lisa Papinaeu
Marriages
RX Bandits
Fang Island
Good Old War
Omar Rodriguez Lopez
deafheaven
Boris

Record label knows how to do 'er right.

My son. He's awesome. I gush, but so what. He makes my heart race every time I see him. He's beautiful, full of joy and a desperately innocent enthusiasm that drives my cynical brain mad.

Being a father is more awesome than awesome can be.

The fact that you're a great dad makes you awesome, so feel free to gush.

Finally started reading The Wind Through the Keyhole (Dark Tower 4.5 you could say) as I obessively needed to read the previous four books and short story. While I recognize this book is great as a standalone, reading it directly in tandem with the other stories makes it worth the wait. I'm only 30 pages in and I know I'll be reading it again after I finish re-reading the series, just for the sheer joy of it.

Thanks mate, I really appreciate that.

Man, I really need to get back into reading. I miss it terribly. Must admit I've ony read a couple of King's books but I really enjoyed them.

Made me smile at the end of a poppy week (which they all are at the moment, but hey-ho!) - thank you! :D
