Fucking moving. URRRRGGGGGHHHHH

And having my girlfriend go back home for the summer. I'll be seeing her for a couple days this weekend, but after that, save maybe a few days in June (big maybe), I won't see her until mid-August. Limited contact as well, as where I'll be working this summer will have limited internet/little to no cell service. While being there will be awesome, being without contact is gonna blow. <-----me.

I know... teardrops on my guitar.

My mother is here, as a result today we have been into the city centre in the middle of a heatwave to browse tiny charity shops cramped with old people (one woman was WAAAY too in my personal space and was breathing heavily) then come home where we've sat and watched hours of horrible daytime TV, a lengthy clip-show about Eurovision (during which we decided we'd play Rock Band at the end) and now we are watching Eurovision while she looks online at handbags.

Tomorrow we are going out with a man she pretends isn't her boyfriend but he stays at hers every weekend and they stroke each other when they think we're not looking. I then have been drafted into setting up and loading books onto his new Kindle because y'know, apparently I know about computers (I have never touched a Kindle and keep saying this) and going to the boring museum.

But I have to be on my best behaviour because the past 3 times I've seen my mum we've not been talking by the end and my girlfriend says, I'm "carrying it this time".

So I am getting quietly drunk in the corner. This cannot possibly go wrong.

That is quite sad.

And now, something less unawesome: woke up with a large zit in the middle of my back, so decided to get rid it while showering. It not only hurt, but bled a bit more than I expected. The band-aid I'm wearing tickles annoyingly.

Get to work today, and find out that since I'm going on leave from my job for 2 1/2 months I lose my health insurance unless I pay out of pocket for the time I'm gone. That means probably around $1500 for the time I'm gone, if not more, which is basically every penny I'm earning this summer. And guess where every penny I'm earning this summer was going to go? To getting to London and the Retinal Circus.

So yeah, uber un-fucking awesome.

Well, on the plus side...if you break your leg in London, you don't have to pay 8)

Well worked it out and got a cheaper health plan for just a few months, so methinks London can still happen. Still, today has just blown.
