Maybe they're worried about your morals (or lack thereof), and this is a kind of intervention. :P

Shush you :P

Just raged over the phone and got them to remove it. Time to consider changing ISP's methinks!

How curious. We're with Talktalk and have no such restriction.

Unless your definition of porn is considerably stronger than my imagination allows.

No it will not.

Nah I wouldn't say so.

Also Billy, It'd been restricted since yesterday (DNS stated Talktalk at fault after trying 3 other browsers, and trying to access Pirate Bay and a few random gambling sites without luck to check it out before raging completely) and I couldn't access any of the usual porn suspects. I read on the news earlier today that the ban had started to be enforced so called them and after they started asking what sites I wanted to access (Wat?!!?) I told them to lift it now (under the principle of not asking for it, therefore not wanting it) and lo and behold, it's been done.

They're activating their HomeSafe service without the account holder's consent and you need to call their people in India and opt out. By doing so probably makes you a sexual deviant.

Now I can't access Reddit or porn (the former is probably a blessing in disguise) but since I live alone and I'm the account holder with my ISP, as a paying customer I'm fucking fuming they've brought this in without even informing their users and now I have to declare I'm a pervert to get it back.

now that's pretty fucked up! Our governments complain about internet censorship in China and look what they're doing themselves now.

Girls don't fap. They shlick. But that totally sucks, especially because you are a free-thinking adult, not some child who should be regulated. This country looks to be heading in the same direction with its internet filter (dunno if it has or when it will apply, but I still disagree with it).

Un-awesome: Internal server errors. I wish this forum did not have them. :chain:

Say whaaaaat?

I'm on TalkTalk and haven't noticed this yet. First thing I'll do when I get home is test this... just out of curiousity you understand. I have never watched anything my mother wouldn't approve of...

Of course not.
I got an email from them last night confirming they've removed the HomeSafe add-on on my account and now I'm free to watch as much pornography as I like. Hooray!

My roof has been leaking and my insurer will only cover the internal damage. Rubbish!

And my finger hurts.

Otherwise, everything is peachy!

Insurance companies are a pain. There's one company here that will not cover water damage, but they will cover your property being hit by a meteorite.

Yes, you read that correct.
