Floppy hair, arm, phone and a bit of a face- put a dress on and ride on the back of a pig then you've got my undivided attention.

Lettuce wrote:You look a bit horrified there! I put on a pair of jeans I bought last year to do some painting and before I even left the house they were round my knees...IT'S AN AMAZING THING WHAT A LOW CALORIE DIET AND REGULAR EXERCISE CAN DO...

Went to the shop this arvo to get some milk. My shorts fell down.
I felt like Grandpa Simpson. They fit yesterday...that exercise bike ride last night must have literally taken quite a bit out of me.

gs48 wrote:Oh wow how did you do it? Lots of gym and jogging is my guess.

Actually no. If I could still jog - I wouldn't have been in such a way to begin with.
Gastric surgery, lots of blue days, re-learning how to eat, pain, painkilling injections, lots of black days...but I have turned a corner now. Feeling better, starting to look better and I have many things to look forward to. :D

Dave, do you swim or use an elliptical at all? You would know better than I, but you could take a lot of pressure off of your knees and get a lot of exercise with those.

Ellipticals are a bit too much for me (I used to be able to do stairmaster for an hour without being out of breath :( )...perhaps as I keep shrinking I might be able to manage.

Swimming is definitely the best tonic of all. Started tentatively a few months ago but after seeing how good my fitness is (I was good only a few minutes after falling off the bike Friday night) I'm gonna hit the pool in earnest.
It is mandatory for all Aussies to be able to swim. You think Ayers Rock is just a...well, a rock? Nope, it is the entrance to a subterreanean gulag for Oz non-swimmers...such is the stigma attached to these landlubbers. :D

Back on topic, my windswept back yard yesterday afternoon:

^Epic blue eyes are epic.

I can't swim either... but I do go "swimming" every now and then. After losing a bunch of excess faffyness about a year ago, I need some exercise to glue myself back together agin. :P

Nooow where was I? Oh, right! My good friend Kristi is in London for the weekend, and we strolled around Covent Garden and nearby areas in awful rain among lots of people. It was niiice. I bought Lush-stuff and other stuff (read: hazelnut butter and caramel tea omnomnom)

Violet, you are looking stunninger with every passing month. Faffy, you epitomise Gorgeous.

Crazyaga, get a haircut, dude. Before you walk into something. And please explain your name. I am just about to order an Aga, a 4 -oven one, which will be my pride and joy. It is nonetheless a huge range cooker made of cast iron. Mental health is not something i have considered with regard to it.

Methinks Faffy has the most pinchable cheeks in the universe.
