Dev said in the commentary for Ghost that there are seagull sounds on all four records. Call me clumsy, but I'm having a hard time hearing them on the other three, particularly on Deconstruction
Any ideas where to look(listen)?
A seagull shat on me yesterday, to the great amusement of a coach driver standing nearby. Then it (or another seagull) shat on him too. Karma.
My mum told me today she once ate a seagull.

I've had some bad experiences with Canadian seagulls. Their cries are just too easily mistaken for the cries of abused children.
Peas and love.
Tried to feed a seagull at Frisco Bay...he ended up eating my cell phone and ran away.
Seagulls. How do they work?

Why do Sea gulls fly over the sea??
..Well...if they flew over the Bay they'd be..BAGELS!!

The last time I went fishing (about a decade ago), there were seagulls flying around the strait we had chosen to fish. I threw a wide cast, and one seagull dove for my bait. Nearly hooked the bastard, too. Don
I think I hear some birds right at the beginning of Stand
There have always been gulls in the background of Dev's stuff. Think the intro to Deep Peace on Terria. I think he said something to the effect during a production commentary that one of the main places he records in Vancouver is near the water, and dude often takes samples of around the area to build ambiance. Can't always be as cool as Radial Highway, but I for one like the gulls because it's a sound I often wake up to. I'm not trying to be THAT guy, but I think it's a familiarity with those kind of audio textures must be one of the reasons I picked up on Dev's music and love his particular approach to "wall of sound" so damn much.
I'm waiting for the album with the foxes having sexytimes.

that would have to be the most brain damaging album EVER produced... the screams of copulating foxes is harrowing beyond compare :/
it seems I now exist on this forum.., interesting turn of events
Frogs are the only thing that I've really noticed Dev making good use of
