Dang it!! It's always cloudy here when that happens. Not that we'd see them anywhere near as good as you chaps up there but we do get some rare bursts of funky colours.

It was real nice. Went out for a smoke and saw my neighbours staring the sky. At one point the northern lights seemed to beam out from a single point right above us and it looked like vivid green slow motion rain.
edit: right now I really get why these things inpired older religions.
