that would be one thing. I'd also like to know whether software updates still work without problems or not. I would suck to spend a bunch of money on a region free player and then you can't play the latest BDs on it. I've seen some on amazon.de for 400 Euros which actually isn't too bad.

Ah, the REPLACEMENT DSOTM Immersion Box set finally got here. (for those who have been following this woefully-Homeric First World Tragedy)

December 20th...January 4th...close enough. :alone:
Thus ends my Amazonian misadventure.

Well, until The Wall comes out late next month...

Did it contain the Golden Fleece?

No, that little Charlie Bucket bastard down the road got that one.

This one has marbles though. I likes marbles, I does...
It will be a tardy Christmas gift for my 15 y.o. godson; who thinks music begins and ends at metal.
He is either in for an eye-opening surprise...or my foot up his erse if he doesn't like it.

(another eye-opener, I guess)

A foot up the ass is an orifice opener for sure.

TODAY

Went to my primary school to visit the school nurse there. That... probably sounds weird to anyone else. But I was a troubled child, and we were very close. :P I haven't seen her since I was 13, and she's known me since I was about 7. She pretty much know my entire childhood history, good and bad... and she was SO happy to see me again. To be honest she's one of the most epic people I've ever met. She is absolutely amazing, and had so many nice things to say about me and how I've turned out (despite everything about me indicating otherwise, I guess :P ). She kept all the nice stuff me and my best friend made for her! She especially loves the letter I drew and wrote her from Sweden. After chatting with her for a LONG time she walked me through the school, and it looks juuust like it did back in the old days. Two after-school workers recognized me (but the teachers I met this autumn who I had two years ago didn't! D: ). :3

After that visit I just walked around, looking at my other old school (from age 13-16), saw my old house (awh) and visited my Aunt and cousin. Then my other aunt and cousin visited me after I had been in town a bit. It was nice! Going back to London early tomorrow.

All in all this short visit back home in Norway was well nice! I'm not much of a people person, but it's been so awesome to meet everyone. :3 Been receiving so many compliments lately. I don't know how to deal with it. I suppose I am in some kind of "ugly duckling" story... o_O Not used to this at all. It's quite nice though.
I'm a goof.

My best friend when I was 13 was an 80 year old man and his wife. He had all this stuff in his garage and would tell me about things and show me how to do magic tricks. You connect with who you connect with. The soul doesn't care for convention when it finds another like it; it just connects.
