Ah, found one. 8)
http://www.digitalcinema.com.au/Sony-BDP-S780-Region-Free-Blu-Ray-DVD-Player-p/sony-bdp-s780.htm
Sony don't sell region-free products down here, but these are all converted and ready to rock and/or roll.

It'll synch with the rest of my Bravia stuff and I'll be able to buy/watch blu-rays of shows such as Deadwood; which may never be released here as blu.

I want one so bad! It sucks that you can't just unlock Blu-ray players with software. I was thinking of just importing an American one since most of the foreign stuff I'm interested in is Region A stuff from the US and Canada. And yes, Deadwood is one of those items of interest! :D Also the uncut US Blu-ray of American Psycho, the 25th anniversary edition of Evil Dead 2 and Anchor Bay's Blu-ray release of Evil Dead which includes the movie in its original 4:3 aspect ratio and of course all those great Criterion releases. Sometimes I wish I wasn't such a geek. Nah, just kidding.

Ha ha, holy shit, my MacWorld press pass just got me free press passes to the Modest Mouse concert the night before.

Not metal at all, but they're in my top 10 of all time.

AAAH! PUPPIES!!!

My mum's trying to get my dog pregnant (with another dog, mind you).
What's un-awesome is that they will be born and everything while I'm in London, and sold by the time I get back. :P

just looked at the price. Holy hell. 1,000 bucks?

I know, right? The price we pay...

I'm just waiting for them to reply to my email asking about the manufacturer's warranty still being valid after their hardware mods, and we're in business.

See, I kept telling that nice teuchter policeman that it was tidal action what made me stagger along the road to Inverness (after skinny-dipping and attempting to make sweet pleisiosaur lurrve to her Ness-ness), but would he listen?
